Our visit
to the Tackaberry's Private Collection was awe inspiring.
From
transport trucks, motorcycles, snowmobiles, fire-trucks, rescue
vehicles and the never ending variety of tractors, there was
something for everyone to enjoy.
One
garage featured a collection of Cadillac cars and memorabilia in
addition to a lone Corvette. We toured 5 or 6 buildings at their
Head Office, in addition to the outside collectibles and then
another 3 buildings at their residence.
The
garages were well packed but still very accessible. There were props
added to a number or the displays to make the journey that much more
interesting. Props included a fire fighter and his dog in a
fire-truck, gangsters, prime minister and president to a cow in the
back of a truck. It is the most Historic License Plates that I have
seen in one place let alone all belonging to one family. Charlie
Tackaberry indicated that all of the vehicles are in running
condition and licensed each year. Man I hate paying the $74 per year
can you imagine doing that for hundreds of vehicles.
NOTE:

photographs for this page along with the above write up !!
