| Ron's Beer Tour to Beau's Brewery, June 20th |
|
On an overcast Saturday morning, we gathered at Ron's place for the long awaited beer tour. We headed off through the countryside in eager anticipation of our visit to the Beau's Brewery in VanKleek Hill. Spirits were dampened slightly when Ron lead us onto an aggravating aggregate road which caused some panic, distress and definitely slower speeds amongst the participating members. After several kilometers of anxious chatter on the walkie talkies, we returned to paved surfaces and everyone's blood pressure resettled.
We had a great tour and lunch at the brewery and some folks purchased bottles of liquid souvenirs. Ron only made one wrong turn on our way to the St. Albert's Cheese Factory for some treats and then afterwards we made our way back to our humble abodes to wash our cars and arrange for paint chip repairs.
Thanks to our Vice President - "Mr. Chips" - for a day we will remember for a long time.

We made it!! We rolled into Beau's Brewery and got parked and went inside for the tour and some samples.
The first look inside revealed lots of shiny tanks.
It didn't take long to form a line to try some cold beer.

Everyone listens intently to our tour guide - Nikky.
Poor Nikky was having trouble keeping up with handing out the samples. She was moving at the speed of light.
