Golden Lake Road Tour, September 7th

Organized by Steve & Angela Moore
Another great road tour set up by Steve & Angie. He must have shares in Xerox as the guide maps handed out - each in its own portfolio - were massive and detailed. No way for anyone to get lost and they didn't. I believe we had 19 or so Vettes. We wound the Vettes through (many newly paved) back roads past Arnprior and Renfrew and ... and ... and ... finally ending up at the Sands Restaurant on the shores of Golden Lake.
Great location with our own room and a nice buffet. Had a mini-meeting of sorts, showing off the C.C.C. fleece now available and asking for volunteers for 2009. A few people stepped forward and we haven't forgotten. We'll be in touch. Small groups buzzed off in various directions from Golden Lake on the nice sunny drive home.
Thanks again, Steve & Angie.

Many thanks to Steve and Angie for putting together a great package of maps so none of us got lost.
Am I reading that right? And Steve said we would be sticking to the speed limit !!
No doubt - we went through Eganville.
