With the extreme cold weather and hazardous conditions associated with it that we have been experiencing, it is comforting to know that our Club President is standing by the members and showing leadership and support when it is most needed. Winter can be a down time emotionally for many Corvetters and the months seem long as we wait for clear roads and warm temperatures. Thank you Brian for these photos that elevate our spirits and provide the help we need to get through these final months of a long winter.

Another tough day in Florida. Manual labor can really put a strain on those muscles. Brian and his son caught four fish in total on the day these pictures were taken. Three can be seen in the pictures here, the fourth was a 3 lb mackerel and that was used as bait to catch the others.

Brian relaxing and bonding with his son. The one the left is 57 lbs and 53 inches long and is called an Amber Jack. It is a very strong sport fish and was too mature for eating so it is going to be mounted. The one on the right is a little 18 pound brother of the Amber and is called a Almaco Jack.

Wonder what was for supper -it was one of the Almaco Jack's. It was filleted on the dock and driven to a restaurant about 5 minutes away and eaten for lunch. Now that's fresh fish !! Congratulations on some great catches guys, and we aren't necessarily talking about the fish !
