Member Michael Pastor has very generously offered to put together a great summer road trip for members of the Capital Corvette Club.  Michael went on this trip in 2004 and forged many lasting friendships and still has great memories of the trip and has had a burning desire since 2004 to make it happen again.  Fortunately for you - this is the year he has chosen to take on this task.

Mike came to the Club Executive meeting on April 18th and did a brief presentation about his intentions to put together the trip.  He is well into the planning stages, however, due to the popularity of this event and the huge numbers it draws, decisions have to be made now in order to reserve space in the suburban Detroit area where the cruise occurs.   We have reserved a hotel to stay in and more importantly a spot where to park the Corvettes!  The Dream Cruise is spread out over a 16 mile route that passes through small communities on the north side of Detroit.  As many as 30,000 special interest cars show up for this event and they are parked everywhere and cruise Woodward Avenue in grand style.
